Since Pal’s is situated in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, we wanted to connect Pal’s heritage with this new LTO product to cultivate excitement about the biscuit and a deeper fan base for the brand. We promptly named the product The Smokie Sausage Link Biscuit in honor of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee and told the story of the “Legend of the Smokies” as the TV spot, an ode to the Appalachian storytellers in the region and the new, delicious Pal’s biscuit.
