Creative Energy Earns International Recognition
Agency Earns Multiple Awards in 2022 Graphis Advertising Annual
Creative Energy has earned recognition for campaigns to invite remote workers to move to Johnson City and a campaign for Pal’s Sudden Service that will be included in the 2022 Graphis Advertising Annual.
Graphis is one of the most well-regarded archives of exceptional industry work in design, advertising, photography, and art/illustration. Having your work included in their annuals signifies that it is among the best creative firms from around the world.
“Creative Energy has been fortunate enough to have been included in Graphis Annuals for work in the past, but it is always a great accomplishment for our team,” says Will Griffith, VP of Creative Services at Creative Energy. “The Graphis Annuals are like the Who’s Who of international creative professionals in our industry. Having Creative Energy included is a practical affirmation that the work we are doing for our clients is on par with the work coming out of the best agencies around the world. I’m very proud of our team, and the creative leadership they bring to every project.”
This year, there are two campaigns from Creative Energy that have earned inclusion in the 2022 Graphis Annual.
This was a campaign Creative Energy created as a collaborative project between the Johnson City Convention & Visitors Bureau (JCCVB), Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association (NETTA), and Northeast Tennessee Regional Economic Partnership (NETREP).
The campaign goal was to communicate and inspire professionals from around the country to consider Johnson City—one of the fastest growing and highly targeted cities for people moving from larger urban areas—as they transition to a permanent remote work model. The campaign included video and graphical assets as well as the media strategy to deploy the campaign nationwide.
This was a regional campaign Creative Energy developed with their long-time client partner, Pal’s Sudden Service. Known for their fun and playful advertising campaigns, Pal’s has been bringing amazingly creative campaigns to customers for years. The Creative Energy team had the idea to create a tongue-in-cheek campaign to announce Pal’s LTO (Limited Time Offer) release of the Tender Pork Loin Biscuit by developing a campaign that had the feel of a popular dating app.
The campaign included video, social media, and digital creative assets which also included the development of a fake dating website called Tender Pals, which gave information about the LTO release and allowed visitors to share their stories.
These two campaigns will be included in the hardback published 2022 Graphis Annual, which is distributed around the world.
